Designing and building a custom landscape may seem like a daunting task, but our simple, streamlined process makes creating the landscape of your dreams easier than ever before. Our expert team, including a dedicated landscape designer, will work closely with you throughout these seven steps to make sure your unique needs, timeline, and style are at the forefront of our process.

Initial Contact
Make your initial contact with Unique Landscaping by filling out our online form or giving our team a call. One of our client specialists will be in touch as soon as possible to determine if your needs are a good fit for our services.

Free Consultation
Available to any homeowner within a ten-mile radius of Colleyville, a free consultation is the next step towards crafting your custom landscaping plan. We come to your home for a maximum of one hour to brainstorm design ideas together, identify your key concerns, and explore what plants might be a good fit for your property.

Design Process
During the two to four weeks following your initial consultation, our landscape designer will be hard at work creating a custom design plan that meets all of your needs with a high degree of elegance and sustainability. To create a design for you, we require a survey plat of your property.

Design Presentation
Once our team has crafted a detailed plan for your property, you'll receive an in-depth packet of information about your potential new landscape! It will include a gorgeous, to-scale drawing of your design plan, which some customers have even saved as artwork, as well as information on irrigation, maintenance, and other helpful topics. The complete packet will contain:
- A full proposal, including a line-item listing of all materials and services plus their prices
- A small version of the design
- A diagram showing which items will be removed from your landscape
- Irrigation recommendations
- A trifold explaining our services
- Two "Go Texan" brochures with more information about plant materials and local landscaping tips
There is a non-refundable design fee due at the time of the presentation—$500 for the front yard, $1,000 for both front and back—for this comprehensive plan. One complimentary revision is included in your design fee.

Agreement and Deposit
If the plan looks good, you'll sign your landscaping agreement and pay a 50% deposit either at the signing or 30 days prior to your construction start date if it is more than 30 days out. While your start date will depend on our workload and the complexity of sourcing materials for your unique design, they usually range from two weeks to two months after signing. Please let us know at the time of your consultation if you have a deadline.

Installation
Our expert team will arrive promptly on your start date and get straight to work, and you can expect our professionalism, timeliness, and integrity to carry on throughout the installation process. If installation costs less than originally proposed, you will not be charged, and if it goes over budget, we will not charge you extra.

The last step in our process is to sit back and enjoy your new landscape! We strive to craft an outdoor space that exceeds your expectations, and once we're finished with the installation, you'll be able to enjoy your Texas-tested garden, patio, irrigation, and more.
