NOTES - Upright plant with branching stems and slightly hairy, lance-shaped, willow-like leaves. Terminal spikes carry whorls of flowers. Plants are tolerant of heat and humidity. Moist, well-drained soil in full sun is preferred. Used for cut flowers. Hardy to Zone 3.
